Waiting for Beds explores the struggles of the public health and healthcare systems in America through a variety of mediums. The project aims to shed light on the issues faced by those who suffer from mental health crisis and the challenges they face in accessing care.

Through their artwork, Moira Villiard and Carla Hamilton also delve into the social systems that contribute to the challenges faced by those in mental health crisis. Waiting for Beds aims to spark conversation and encourage change in the way society views and addresses mental health.
